How exactly I've stumbled upon this lovely blog by a Dutch interior designer, mother and woman loving everything beautiful, recreating and creating it... This is something, I can't really recollect. But the tab remained open in my browser, I went through all the photos of Nina on Flickr (check them out here) and I visited and revisited Nina's Etsy shop. The last offers a great assortment of Nina's self designed and made ceramics, prints, postcards etc. I am not going to try to properly describe the fairy tale world you will see, but I am going to order one of the magic collage prints. And for all young parents: you will find some very original
custom made name prints... Great work!

Ellesse 50th Anniversary International Competition Winner

In May I wrote that Eva Lai is the winner of the ellesse 50th anniversary design competition. And I found out only today that there has been some confusion. Eva Lai was the competition exclusively for the London Fashion College. At the brand's 50th anniversary party in Rome the winner of the international competition were announced: The winning design is by 31-year-old Korean photographer Yang Yoo-Jin entitled ‘Put On Tennis’. And this great tennis dress on the photo (the one that won the London Fashion College competition) was made up at the event in Rome. Fantastic!

The French PPR group holding some of the most famous luxury fashion labels as Gucci, Yves Saint Laurent, Bottega Veneta but also sport brands as Puma and fashion retailers as Redoute is the main sponsor of a movie showing breathtaking pictures, alarming facts and real solutions. The initiative called the Home Project, is a film by the famous photographer Yann-Arthus Bertand and Luc Besson (Taxi, The 5th Element, Léon) and is a great experience - as a piece of art aiming at sensitizing us for the situation and the problems of our home - the planet - a place of delicate harmony. After having spend almost an hour in a H&M store yesterday, I was impatient to show you some wonderful pieces I found - timeless, chic and well done - a jacket and a skirt. Unfortunately I couldn't find them in the online shop. Still wondering what the reason is... However I found two great summer looks proposed by H&M. A skirt in violet combined with a romantic white blouse and a white skirt in a combination with black. No doubt for me, white is one of the summer colours (and looks at least as beautiful on snowy winter days as well:)).

Wie ich schon gechrieben habe, ich bin leider gar kein Experte, wenn es um Hochzeitsmode geht, schon gar nicht wenn es um die Männer geht. Daher einfach drei Vorschläge von der aktuellen Carlo Pignatelli Kollektion (danke an dieser Stelle nochmal für den Tipp!) in drei unterschiedlichen Farben: je nachdem in welchem Rahmen die Hochzeit gefeiert wird und natürlich entsprechend dem persönlichen Geschmack. Schick sehen die Anzüge auf jeden Fall aus und die Models scheinen sich gut zu fühlen und das ist wohl am wichtigsten :)
