Coccinelle on Vente Privee Germany

I was so impatiently waiting for purchasing a new Coccinelle bag and woke up earlier in order to be among the first on Vente Privee today...Unfortunately I had no chance, almost everything was sold out in the first 15 minutes after the beginning. Nevermind, I'll keep looking and who knows: It could be that afer the success Coccinelle and Vente Privee would talk about a regular partnership :)

Festival Looks: A Stylish Idea by Mango

Mango presents some stylish ideas for different festival looks depending on the music style or on the location. There are plenty of T-shirts, skirts and jeans and accessories and thousand ways to combine them whether for an electronic or pop/rock music or indie festival on the beach. I would go for the beach :)

Closed Jeans & Co. On Vente Privee

The Closed sales action started about an hour ago on Vente Privee. It's worth a look or two, especially the jeans!

Stylish eyewear

Couple of days ago I passed by this shop window and loved immediately the stylish glasses and the inventive decoration! The pair of glasses on the left is by lafont Paris - they have lovely ideas!

This Saturday at the traditional Glockenbach District Market in Munich, designers and artists are going to present once again their work. One of the participants Indigena: the brand for individual jewellery. Check it out!

Jewellery: Pergament Schmuck by Hilde Janich

While having a walk yesterday (it was a bank holiday), I seized the opportunity for some window shopping and discovered a wonderful necklace by German designer Hilde Janich. Unfortuntely the picture I took doesn't have the quality colours I would find acceptable, but luckily I found the website of Mrs Janich. The picture above shows one of her incredible creations.

Fashion for sustainability

The French PPR group holding some of the most famous luxury fashion labels as Gucci, Yves Saint Laurent, Bottega Veneta but also sport brands as Puma and fashion retailers as Redoute is the main sponsor of a movie showing breathtaking pictures, alarming facts and real solutions. The initiative called the Home Project, is a film by the famous photographer Yann-Arthus Bertand and Luc Besson (Taxi, The 5th Element, Léon) and is a great experience - as a piece of art aiming at sensitizing us for the situation and the problems of our home - the planet - a place of delicate harmony. Fashion for sustainability - a piece of art and hopefully a step forward. You can watch the movie on YouTube till June 14th, 2009 where there is a link to join the cause.

Summer is just about to start (officially in about 10 days) and labels have already started the sales season. Whether Moschino or Mango , they all have very special offers created for true customers or for the lucky ones (both labels offer 30% on a big part of the current collection). German ELLE just arrived this morning with amazing Gisele Bündchen on the cover (I love the colours of her bangles combined with the one of the top she is wearing and her hair's nuances). And there is a special: the famous designers' collections for the coming season. I am already impatient to study the supplement thouroughly and to discover other charming pieces as this
is pink Hugo coat in the picture above...

Chic Shoes by Chanel

Whether for a summer cocktail party, for a stylish dancing club or combined with an elegant dress, these wonderful dolly shoes by Chanel would be the right choice. Even if you don't plan to attend a suchlike event in the near future, I would go for this timeless pair of shoes...

Christian Louboutin Shoes. The Website

Christian Louboutin's website is at least as innovative and individual as his shoes are. The site is designed by Olga of Greece but unfortunately I couldn't find out who is really hiding behind. Whatever... Here are two screenshots showing the Louboutin style site and a lovely pair of shoes.

H & M: Fashion Against Aids

Artists such as Tokio Hotel, Dita von Teese, Robyn, Yoko Ono have designed T-Shirts for the new H&M special collection Fashion Against Aids. Different and individual, the T-Shirts are available in the stores of the Swedish brand and in the H&M online shop. 25% of the revenues are aimed to be spend for Aids educational projects for teenagers.
